 WORKERS' COMPENSATION/EMPLOYEE INJURIES



 

INSTRUCTIONS FOR JOB INJURY REPORTING

 

If injury is life-threatening, call 911 immediately, then notify the district Risk Management Office via riskmangement@menifeeusd.org and Employee’s Supervisor.

All other accidents/injuries, call The Company Nurse at (877) 518-6702 the incident must be reported to the Employee’s Supervisor.  The Supervisor will email Risk Management  at riskmangement@menifeeusd.org advising of the employee's injury, including the employee's name, site location, and when it happened.

THESE PROCEDURES APPLY TO ALL INJURIES 24 HOURS A DAY, 7 DAYS A WEEK.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

 

Menifee Union School District will not be responsible for any bills for self-procured medical treatment not authorized in advance by Risk Management. (NOTE: Your private health insurance will not cover bills for work-related injuries. You may be financially responsible for self-procured medical treatment.)

The only exception is for emergency treatment of a serious/life-threatening industrial injury.

Any evidence of abuse, suspicion of fraud or misrepresentation in order to obtain Workers’ Compensation benefits will be investigated and prosecuted.
