Safe Passage for all Students
All students are to enter school on a sidewalk. Students may never cross the parking lot or the street without supervision. The car lane on Saxony Drive at the side of the school is our only designated and supervised vehicle drop off and pick up area. It is the safest place to drop students off and pick them up. It is illegal to park in red zones and make a u-turn in school zones.
The front area of the school is reserved for buses, vehicles with handicap placards, and parents with school assigned placards. School assigned placards must be renewed each school year.
Student Arrival
Pedestrians: Students may enter through the front doors or back gate at arrival times.
Drive Through: Please use the side car lane on Saxony Drive when dropping off students in a car. (The side car lane is one way. Enter at the west driveway.) Students must be dropped off immediately once at the curb. Please do not double park. Form a single car lane and pull forward when possible to facilitate an efficient and safe drop off of children. There is no parking in the drop off lane.
Student Dismissal
Pedestrian: ALL WALKING PARENTS MUST GO TO THE FRONT OF THE SCHOOL
If you are walking to pick up your child they will be in the front of the school on Southshore Drive at the pedestrian pick up area at the main entrance near the flag pole. We ask that parents wait out front behind the white line and keep the lobby and hall area clear to promote a safe and orderly dismissal.
Drive Through: Please use the side car lane on Saxony Drive when picking up students. (The side driveway is one way. Enter at the west driveway.) While exiting the car loop, please note it is a right turn only.
