Dear Parents/Guardians of Menifee Union School District Students:
Within the Menifee Valley, there is a non-profit charitable organization (the Community Cupboard) that provides food to families in need of a helping hand. Many of the recipients are children in the Menifee Union School District.
As we have in past years, we would like all of us in the District to help our families in need – especially during the upcoming Thanksgiving Season.
If you choose to participate, please send one can (container) of non-perishable food to school with your child on the designated day for your school as follows: Requests have been made in particular for peanut butter, jelly, boxed meals, and anything that would help to make a Thanksgiving meal. Canned or boxed goods are requested with no glass containers please.
