School starts next Friday, 14 August in the Distance Learning+ instructional model, we’ll be excited to welcome you back to learning with us.  To keep you informed on the next steps, we want you to expect the following:

Data Validation:  In order to be ready for the first day of online school, we need every student’s information to be validated and updated in the AERIES Student (Parent) Portal.  On Tuesday 11 August, Parents/Guardians will receive an email with instructions to create an AERIES Student (Parent) Portal and update the information.

Class/Schedule Assignments:  Once the data validation is complete, students will be assigned schedules and classroom teachers.  Assignments will be published on Thursday, 13 August, in the afternoon, in the AERIES Student (Parent) Portal.

Professional Development:  All teachers return to work for the 2020-2021 school year on Monday, 10 August and will have four full days of professional development, preparing them to provide engaging instruction beginning on Friday, 14 August, the first day of online school.

Special Education:  Students who receive Special Education services will also be required to complete Data Verification and will receive class/schedule assignments as explained above.  Additionally, each student’s case manager will contact parents/guardians within the first two weeks of school to consult on Distance Learning+ Special Education services.
