MUSD Families,

Good evening. I would like to provide you with an update regarding yesterday’s potential threat of violence made against HCMS via social media.  Today the Menifee Police Department has deemed the threat to be non-credible.  As such, HCMS will reopen on Friday, June 3, 2022.

At this time, the investigation regarding the social media threat at HCMS is still active. The Menifee Police Department was able to narrow down who may have either posted the threat or knew who posted the threat. The Menifee Police Department has assured us that the person(s) responsible for such threats will be held accountable for their actions. The District will also take all appropriate action to hold any students involved accountable.  

The HCMS 8th Grade Awards Night scheduled for this evening will be rescheduled for the near future. The cooperation from families and staff has not gone unnoticed.  Your support allows us and the Menifee Police Department to make decisions that are truly in the best interest of students.
